Fence Dry! Rules For Fencing

THE GENERAL RULE:  Unless otherwise indicated the current edition of the rules of fencing as adopted by the United States Fencing Association govern competitions of Fence Dry!  The Technical Rules below establish guidance for fencing in dry competitions and are consistent with previous editions of the rules of fencing as established by the Federation Internationale d'Escrime and the United States Fencing Association and its predecessor organization, the Amateur Fencers League of America.  The Bout Committee and Tournament Management Rules establish a variety of format for competitions designed to meet club needs and to promote variety in fencing.  The Administrative Rules define how Fence Dry! will administer specific programs for its associated clubs and individual fencers.  Fence Dry! does not establish separate technical specifications for equipment - equipment used in fencing must conform to the rules of the United States Fencing Association or the Federation Internationale d'Escrime.
