BACKGROUND
Founded in 1971 in Duluth, Minnesota as the Dry Fencing Association, as an advocate for fencing without the use of electric scoring equipment – dry fencing. Dry fencing is also termed steam fencing or standard fencing.

MISSION
Our mission is to increase the number of fencers in the United States, to encourage fencers to fence in a competitive format, and to encourage the development of fencing as recreation.
MEMBERSHIP
Associate membership is open to clubs and by individuals. Fence Dry! affiliated clubs agree to include dry fencing and dry competition as an integral part of their fencing programs. Individual Fence Dry! associates earn Fence Dry! classifications, rankings, and championships points and qualify to officiate in dry competitions.
